Job summary

M&T Bank Corporation is seeking a skilled Desktop Engineer to join our Endpoint Engineering team in Buffalo, NY. The role focuses on SCCM/MECM, Windows endpoint management, and enterprise device deployment, with collaboration across ATM/TCR imaging and platform support.

You will design and maintain images, manage OS deployments, and drive automation to improve efficiency and reliability of enterprise endpoints while supporting ATM/TCR environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years combined education and/or work experience in systems design, management and/or architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM), including OSD, software packaging and deployment, patch management, and task sequences.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support SCCM/MECM, including OS deployment, software distribution, patch management, compliance reporting, and application lifecycle management.
• Design, build, and maintain Windows device images and deployment methodologies for enterprise endpoints and ATM/TCR platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex endpoint issues across OS, applications, drivers, networking, and hardware; perform root cause analysis and drive resolutions.
• Apply PowerShell scripting and automation to improve deployment processes and reporting capabilities.
• Collaborate with Desktop, Security, Infrastructure, ATM/TCR Engineering, and Service Desk teams; document procedures and participate in projects.
