Job summary

The State of Montana is seeking a skilled Endpoint Engineer to design, deploy, and manage desktop, laptop, and mobile endpoint environments. You will work on endpoint, network, and systems modifications, ensuring security and optimal performance of Department applications across devices.

Responsibilities include OS config, workstation deployment, technical assistance, and advanced troubleshooting, with experience in MDM and AV solutions considered a bonus.

Qualifications

• Two years of education in Information Technology.
• Two years of job-related experience in a network or systems administrator role.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and manage deployment of Department applications and configurations to workstations.
• Build Department operating system configurations and deploy workstations to end users.
• Develop and implement technical assistance services.
• Ensure the implementation of endpoint security measures and policies to protect organizational data.
• Monitor endpoint performance and implement enhancements to optimize user experience.
• Provide advanced technical support for endpoint-related issues, escalating complex problems as necessary.
