Job summary

Socket.dev in Boulder, CO is seeking a Desktop Engineer to maintain a secure, fully documented end-user computing environment. This hands-on role covers the full endpoint lifecycle, imaging laptops, deploying to Windows and Mac, and supporting classified systems.

On a typical day you will configure devices with Intune, BigFix, and JAMF Pro; manage vulnerabilities; support Windows/macOS; and keep inventory records and SOPs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of desktop/endpoint support experience in an enterprise environment.
• U.S. citizenship required and Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain one).
• Experience with Windows and macOS devices and MS Office productivity software.
• Strong documentation habits including inventory, configuration records, and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Configure and deploy laptops and mobile devices for end users.
• Deploy applications using Microsoft Intune, BigFix, and JAMF Pro.
• Manage endpoint vulnerabilities and drive remediation.
• Support Windows and Mac devices, including BitLocker full-disk encryption.
• Maintain hardware/software inventories and documentation libraries.
• Move, install, and upgrade equipment and provision email accounts.
