Job summary

Enloe Medical Center, Inc. seeks an Endpoint Device Tech to image, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot desktop hardware and software. You will provide frontline IT support, diagnose issues, and log incidents in the IS system on a 8-hour day shift in Chico, CA.

The role requires a degree or equivalent experience, and certifications like CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Professional are valued as part of ongoing professional growth. Benefits are extensive and designed for hospital staff.

Qualifications

Minimum: Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related field or 6 months desktop support experience in an enterprise environment.
Desired: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; hospital IT experience preferred.
CompTIA A+ and Microsoft certifications are valued.
Ability to troubleshoot desktop hardware/software and network issues.

Responsibilities

Imaging, configuring, deploying, modifying, and troubleshooting computer hardware/software at the desktop level.
Provide proactive diagnostics and ongoing technical assistance to users.
Record issues accurately in the IS trouble ticket system and monitor queues.
Procure computers, printers, parts, and supplies; request quotations for budget items.
Support peripherals connected to the Enloe network, including phones and tablets.
