The Barry S. Miller College of Business at the University of Central Florida invites applications for the Miller Technology Endowed Chair in Intelligent Work Systems, a 9-month tenured position at the rank of professor.

This position is located on the UCF Main Campus with an anticipated start date in Fall 2027. The successful candidate will shape the intellectual direction of technology-focused initiatives, contribute to STLI, and advance research in organizational design, human–AI

Formación

• Ph.D. in business, economics, information systems, engineering, computer science, psychology, or a closely related field from an AACSB-accredited (or equivalent) institution.
• Record of scholarly achievement sufficient to qualify for tenure at the rank of Full Professor.
• Active and sustained research agenda with publications in leading peer-reviewed journals.
• Experience teaching at undergraduate and/or graduate level.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as intellectual architect for the Intelligent Work Systems initiative with collaborations among faculty, industry, and government.
• Translate scholarly expertise into organizational practice through partnerships, education, and public engagement.
• Conduct high-impact research on design of work systems at the human–technology interface.
• Contribute to new academic programs and executive offerings aligned with technology focus.
