Job summary

The Barry S. Miller College of Business at the University of Central Florida invites applications for the Miller Technology Endowed Chair in Financial Systems, a 9-month tenured position at the rank of professor.

Located on the UCF Main Campus with a Fall 2027 start, the chair advances research at the intersection of technology and finance. We seek a scholar with impact in financial systems, markets, institutions, or fintech who can lead collaborations and shape executive education and industry

Qualifications

• Ph.D. from AACSB-accredited or equivalent institution by time of application.
• Record of tenure-track scholarship and ongoing publications in peer-reviewed journals.
• Active, sustained research program in financial systems, markets, or related areas.
• Experience teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the intellectual architect for the College's Financial Systems initiative, building collaborations across faculty, industry, and government.
• Translate scholarly expertise into organizational practice through partnerships, executive education, and public engagement.
• Conduct high-impact research on how emerging technologies transform financial systems, markets, and institutions.
• Contribute to developing new academic programs, executive education, and industry partnerships.
