Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Endoscopy Unit at St. Francis Downtown. This role involves delivering comprehensive perioperative nursing care across pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases.

Requirements include an accredited nursing degree (Associate or Bachelor) and active RN licensure. BLS is required; ACLS/PALS preferred or to be obtained within 6 months. CNOR and SGNA are also preferred. Opportunities for career growth and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Two years of RN experience in Critical Care (preferred)
• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing
• Current state licensure as an RN
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred or to be obtained within 6 months
• CNOR and SGNA preferred but not required
• Peri-op 101 training preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in the Endoscopy unit
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Perform pre-op, intra-op, and post-op patient care
• Assess patient status and develop care plans
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients
