Baylor Scott & White Endoscopy Center at Sherman is seeking a PRN Endoscopy Technician to assist during endoscopic procedures and support operating room readiness.
The position requires a minimum of GI Lab experience and current BLS certification; ACLS preferred. Weekdays only; no holidays, weekends, nights or calls.

The Endoscopy Technician operates under the direct supervision of a surgeon to assist with the operation of technical equipment used during both simple and complex endoscopic procedures. The physician, registered nurse, and GI technician collaborate in the procedure room to create ideal conditions for achieving positive patient outcomes. The GI technician is also responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining endoscopes and other instruments. Additional duties of the GI technician include managing patient flow, preparing the room for procedures, stocking supplies, ordering materials, and handling various clerical tasks.
