Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Endoscopy Center at Sherman is seeking a PRN Endoscopy Technician to support operating room staff and ensure smooth endoscopic procedures. The role works under a surgeon and nursing team, assisting with equipment, patient flow, and room preparation.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of GI lab experience, and current BLS with ACLS preferred; previous ambulatory center experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of GI Lab experience.
• Current BLS required, ACLS preferred.
• Ambulatory surgical center or surgical hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with endoscopic procedures under surgeon supervision.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain endoscopes and instruments.
• Prepare the room, stock supplies, and handle clerical tasks.
• Manage patient flow and equipment setup for procedures.
