Job summary

Baylor Surgicare Fort Worth I, operated in partnership with USPI, seeks a PRN Endo/GI Tech to support pre/post-op patient care in a high‑quality ambulatory setting.

Responsibilities include assisting the RN, maintaining sterile prep areas, taking vital signs, and coordinating patient transport, with a focus on safety and efficient procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in healthcare industry.
• Knowledge of GI procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assists Registered Nurse in preparing patients for procedures, and caring for them post-op.
• Checks pre/ post op area for cleanliness and orderliness.
• Brings the patient to pre-op area and assists with changing if needed.
• Takes vital signs.
• Makes sure all pre‑op testing, H&P, and necessary paperwork are on chart prior to surgical procedure.
• Transports patients to and from procedure rooms.
• Maintains supplies and equipment.
• Restocks carts.
• Directs family members.
• Includes family / patient in post‑op instructions.
• Coordinates patient transportation.
• Performs other duties as requested or assigned.
• Participates in QAPI, Infection Control and Safety Program.
