Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is actively seeking an Endoscopy Support Associate to assist RNs and physicians during endoscopic procedures. The role includes reprocessing endoscopes, maintaining equipment, and ensuring patient safety within the Endoscopy suite.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma, strong infection control knowledge, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: None required.
• Ability to assist in Endoscopy procedures and maintain infection control.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN and physician during Endoscopy procedures (EGD, Colonoscopy, etc.).
• Reprocess endoscopes per infection control guidelines.
• Ensure endoscope equipment is in working order and document cleaning/testing.
• Stock Pyxis patient station as directed.
• Assist with patient transport and safety procedures.
