Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth, Inc. is seeking a dedicated CNA to provide patient care and expert support during endoscopic procedures, under physicians and licensed staff.

You will prepare the procedure area with all diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy supplies and equipment, and document information while maintaining patient privacy. The role requires a current CNA license, EMT license or Medical Assistant program completion, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates CNA responsibilities and knowledge.
• Maintains infection control, cleaning and disinfection protocols.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication and customer service etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care and technologic support during endoscopic procedures
• Prepares procedure area with endoscopy supplies and equipment
• Assesses equipment condition and safety of the area
• Documents patient and procedure information accurately
• Completes electronic records per IT department protocols
• Follows infection control and PPE procedures
• Maintains confidentiality and patient privacy
• Assists with patient transport and preparation
• Inspects and rotates sterile supplies monthly
• Supports continuous improvement and LEAN processes
