Job summary

Temple Health is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to support endoscopy services under the guidance of a registered nurse, ensuring patient safety and proper room setup.

The role includes case preparation, assisting with patient preparation, proper handling of instruments and supplies, and anticipating physician needs. A High School Diploma is required and Basic Life Support is required; 1 year of OR/procedural experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Other Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology Preferred
• 1 year experience in a procedural or operating room Preferred
• Basic Life Support Required

Responsibilities

• Care and safety of patients under the Endoscopy Technician's care, under the guidance of the registered nurse
• Handle instruments, supplies and equipment properly
• Prepare the room based on the specific procedure and physician's preference
• Anticipate the physician's needs during procedures
