Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Determine equipment needs for scheduled procedures and whether replacement or repair is required.
• Follow infection control, cleaning, disinfecting and sterilizing procedures.
• Assist physician with endoscopic procedures during diagnostic and therapeutic cases.
• Document each procedure as required by policy.
• Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures and ensure proper setup of supplies and instruments.
• Monitor and document performance improvement tasks.
• Demonstrate compliance with state, federal, and accrediting requirements (HIPAA, patient safety, infection control).
