Job summary

Capital Health in Pennington, NJ: Hopewell endoscopy unit seeks an Endoscopy Technician to support GI and bronchoscopy cases. You’ll prepare procedures, manage equipment, and help maintain a safe, clean endoscopy suite while assisting physicians and nurses during interventions.

The role requires a High School diploma, six months in an Endoscopy unit, and AHA BLS certification, with on-the-job training provided. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Six months in an Endoscopy unit.
• Credentials: AHA BLS; must obtain before end of orientation.
• Knowledge: GI endoscopy procedures including ERCP and bronchoscopy.
• Training: Six months endoscopy training; on-the-job support provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician and RN during endoscopy and bronchoscopy procedures.
• Prepare and organize equipment and maintain sterile technique.
• Clean, disinfect and manage scope decontamination and room turnover.
• Identify patient prior to transport and ensure safety and comfort.
