Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a GI/Bronch endoscopy technician to assist in endoscopy and bronchoscopy cases. You will help with procedure prep, instrument passing, and post-procedure cleanup in the endoscopy suite, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

Requirements include a High School diploma, six months endoscopy experience, and AHA BLS; strong multitasking in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Six months experience working in an Endoscopy unit.
• AHA BLS credential required.
• Ability to multitask in a rapidly changing environment.
• Knowledge of GI endoscopy procedures including ERCP and bronchoscopy.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician and RN with endoscopic procedures as directed.
• Help with patient positioning, specimen care, and room turnover.
• Maintain equipment and decontamination logs, and ensure sterile technique.
• Transport patients safely and support endoscopy team during procedures.
