Ascension is hiring for an Endoscopy support role in Pensacola, FL, at Sacred Heart. The position supports procedures, monitors patients through all stages, and ensures equipment and lab readiness. A High School diploma with experience or an Associate/Technical degree is required, along with timely BLS certification.

• BLS certification required within 1 month of hire (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares patients for procedures by reviewing medical history, appropriately positioning patient and cleaning/shaving/numbing testing sites as appropriate.
• Interprets, describes and reports test results. Recognizes recording errors and artifacts and reacts appropriately.
• Monitors patient prior to, during and after procedures and promptly reports any abnormal findings in patient's condition.
• Prepares and maintains equipment, supplies and lab area.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
