Job summary

Greenview Surgery Center, part of the HCA Healthcare family, seeks an Endoscopy Tech to support GI/endoscopy procedures. You will assist with patient care under supervision, maintain sterile environments, and ensure GI equipment readiness.

Qualifications include a Surgical Technology program graduate, BCLS certification, and about one year of acute care experience in an ambulatory setting. Comprehensive benefits are offered to eligible colleagues.

Qualifications

• BCLS Certification required at employment.
• One year acute care experience preferred, ideally in ambulatory surgery center.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a sanitary environment for the patient.
• Demonstrate knowledge of high disinfection and sterilization of endoscopy equipment.
• Prepare the endoscopy unit and ensure availability of GI equipment and supplies.
• Clean GI treatment rooms between procedures and prepare rooms for the next case.
• Assist in maintenance, care and labeling of specimens.
• Identify specimen with the surgeon and pass to the circulating RN.
