Responsibilities

• Provides efficient patient transport to, within and from the unit.
• Assist with positioning of patients and basic patient care during procedures.
• Endoscopy Technician ensures proper patient grounding and functioning of electrocautery equipment.
• Handle lab specimens and assist with procedures under RN guidance.
• Set up rooms and equipment to facilitate turnaround time in the procedure room.
• Communicate pertinent information to the RN/Charge Nurse/Manager/Physician.
• Assist in pre and post-procedure care under RN guidance.
