Job summary

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year related experience, patient care preferred.
• Knowledge of computer keyboard preferred.
• Good communication skills and organizational abilities.
• Basic computer skills and customer service orientation.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient patient transport and safe care within the unit.
• Assist with patient positioning during procedures and endoscope advancement.
• Ensure patient safety during electrocautery and proper equipment grounding.
• Handle and transport lab specimens to the Lab.
• Prepare rooms and equipment to optimize procedure turnaround time.
• Communicate relevant information to RN/Charge Nurse/Manager/Physician.
• Assist pre- and post-procedure patient care under RN guidance.
• Participate in safety initiatives and adhere to SGNA decontamination standards.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
