Job summary

Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, IL is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for Endoscopy. The role involves 36 hours per week, with on-call responsibilities and rotating Saturday shifts every 6 weeks. Requires IL RN license, CPR, and ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current IL RN license.
• BSN preferred; ADN acceptable with agreement to enroll in BSN completion program within four years.
• Current AHA CPR certification.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts.
• Must live within 30 minutes of hospital.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds; use lifting equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care following evidence-based practice.
• Assist in patient transitions to home or other care settings.
• Respond to patient needs promptly and access all unit areas.
• Perform assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation per standards.
