Job summary

Summit Health is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to assist in decontamination and distribution of flexible endoscopy equipment for patient care. You will support GI staff in endoscopy-specific tasks and prepare rooms according to procedure requirements.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, CER certification (or within 1 year), and a valid driver’s license. Expect 7:00 am to 3:30 pm shifts and a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CER certification or obtained within 1 year of employment.
• Valid Driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Clean, disinfect, endoscopic scopes and equipment per manufacturer and facility standards.
• Maintain endoscopic equipment and report items needing repair.
• Perform safety checks to verify proper equipment functioning.
• Maintain inventories of endoscopic equipment and supplies.
• Ensure safe storage of endoscopic scopes and related equipment.
• Notify lead technician of deficits in endoscopy stock.
• Conduct weekly maintenance of endoscopy washer/disinfectors.
• Maintain audit trail for endoscopic procedures.
