Job summary

Capital Health is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to support GI endoscopy procedures in a busy clinical setting.

Responsibilities include assisting Endoscopist and RN, preparing rooms, sterilizing scopes, and ensuring patient safety. Requires a High School diploma and at least 6 months experience in an Endoscopy unit, plus AHA BLS certification. Eligible for comprehensive benefits with a 40-hour schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Six months experience working in an Endoscopy unit.

Responsibilities

• Assist Endoscopist and circulating RN during endoscopy procedures.
• Prepare procedure rooms and ensure proper turnover and cleanliness.
• Maintain equipment, decontamination logs and scope usage records.
• Transport patients and specimens following safety protocols.
• Adhere to sterile techniques and universal precautions.
