Job summary

Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, IL seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) in Endoscopy for a full-time 36-hour work week with rotating start times and on-call duties, including rotating Saturdays every 6 weeks. Must live within 30 minutes of the hospital and meet licensure requirements.

The RN delivers patient-centered care, coordinates across care teams, and supports a safe patient environment to ensure a high-quality experience for every patient.

Qualifications

• IL RN license required
• BSN preferred; ADN acceptable with agreement to enroll in BSN completion program within four years
• For nurses with <12 months experience, BSN completion may be required to enroll or upon hire
• Nurses with >12 months experience must obtain BSN or recognized nursing certification within one year

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate patient-centered care across the continuum
• Deliver safe patient environment and optimal patient experience
• Respond to patient needs and emergencies per policy
• Participate in on-call rotations and weekend/holiday scheduling

Education

BSN preferred

ADN acceptable with BSN completion plan

Current IL RN license

Current AHA CPR
