Job summary

Lutheran Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to support endoscopy services, floating between procedure and pre/post areas. The role includes care for both inpatient and outpatient patients in a facility with 13 procedure rooms, with shifts that vary by needs.

The RN provides patient-centered care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, collaborating with physicians and the care team to ensure safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required in/state of Indiana.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced endoscopy environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate and deliver care per protocols and orders.
• Assess patients and document findings; communicate changes.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during endoscopy procedures and post-procedure care.
• Educate patients and families; ensure understanding of aftercare.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards; monitor equipment.
• Document care thoroughly and participate in quality initiatives.
