Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide leadership in coordinating and delivering high-quality patient care. You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and teach patients and families, while collaborating with the health care team.

The role requires current Michigan nursing licensure, ACLS/PALS certifications, and the ability to circulate in the procedure room. On-call shifts rotate monthly; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• ACLS/PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in coordination and delivery of quality patient care.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and teach patients and families.
• Communicates pertinent patient/family information to the health care team.
• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
• RN will be required to circulate in the procedure room; on-call shifts rotate monthly.
