Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Successful completion of Henry Ford Ambulatory orientation.
• Maintains and demonstrates current clinical knowledge in area of specialty.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Excellent communication with patients, families, and medical group personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
• Effectively communicates with the health care team.
• Demonstrates clinical competence.
• May require a professional certification where regulatory or community standards apply; works independently and with PI when appropriate.
