Job summary

Emory Healthcare is seeking an RN Clinician for Specialty Services in the Endoscopy Unit at Emory Decatur Hospital. The role focuses on pre-, intra-, and post-procedure patient care, guided by the AACN Synergy Model for Patient Care.

The position emphasizes clinical expertise, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and leadership in a developing role, including potential Charge Nurse duties and staff orientation support.

Qualifications

• Education / Experience requirements: BSN with 12 months of recent nursing experience or ADN with 2 years of recent nursing experience.
• Licensure: Valid RN license
• Certifications: BLS; ACLS may be required; eNLC multi-state license within 60 days of hire; WOC if in Wound Care Dept.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe, effective nursing care using the nursing process.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and develops care plans.
• Documents care in electronic and physical records with accuracy.
• Identifies patient/family learning needs and provides resources.
• Demonstrates leadership through Charge Nurse responsibilities when assigned.
