Job summary

United Digestive is seeking an RN to deliver specialized nursing care in the endoscopy center. You will follow physician orders, apply nursing techniques, and ensure patient safety across all phases of the patient experience. Travel to a sister center may be required.

Requirements include an RN license in Georgia, nursing degree, BLS certification, and GI endoscopy experience preferred; ACLS is recommended. Strong independence and accuracy are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Current State license to practice as an RN.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience in GI endoscopy preferred.
• Membership in GI specialty societies encouraged.
• Maintains Basic Cardiac Life Support certification; ACLS recommended.
• Completion of Airway Management Module prior to IV conscious sedation.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and specialized nursing care to endoscopy patients per physician orders.
• Plan, execute and evaluate nursing care for patients throughout their procedure.
• Interact with patients in each phase of their experience; work independently as needed.
• May travel to a sister center as required by business needs.
