Job summary

United Digestive's Gwinnett Endoscopy Center in Lawrenceville, GA seeks an experienced RN for the Endoscopy unit. The RN provides individualized nursing care following physician orders and established procedures, in collaboration with the Endoscopy team.

The role includes patient contact through all phases of care, with potential travel to a sister center as needed. Requirements include an RN license, nursing degree, and GI endoscopy experience preferred; BLS required with ACLS recommended;

Qualifications

• Current State license to practice as an RN.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience in GI endoscopy preferred.
• Membership in GI specialty or other local, state, or national professional societies encouraged.
• Maintains Basic Cardiac Life Support certification. ACLS certification is recommended, but optional.
• Completion of Airway Management Module is required prior to administering IV conscious sedation. Score of 100% on conscious sedation module post-test.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care in the endoscopy center.
• Plan, execute and evaluate nursing care according to physician orders and nursing standards.
• Interact with patients through all phases of their experience in the center.
• May travel to a sister center as needed.
