Job summary

United Digestive is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver specialized nursing care in the endoscopy center under physician orders. The RN will plan, execute, and evaluate care for patients, liaising with staff across all phases of their experience.

Candidates should hold a 2-year nursing degree, be licensed as an RN, and have GI endoscopy experience preferred. BLS is required; ACLS is recommended but optional. May travel to a sister center as needed.

Qualifications

• Current State license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience in GI endoscopy preferred.
• Membership in GI specialty or other local, state, or national professional societies encouraged.
• Maintains Basic Cardiac Life Support certification. ACLS certification is recommended, but optional.
• Completion of Airway Management Module is required prior to administering IV conscious sedation. Score of 100% on conscious sedation module post-test.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and specialized nursing care in the endoscopy center.
• Plan, execute and evaluate nursing care for patients across all phases of the experience.
• Work independently with minimal supervision; may travel to a sister center.
