Job summary

United Digestive in Douglasville, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized nursing care in our endoscopy center. The RN will plan, execute, and evaluate care per physician orders and will interact with patients through all phases of their experience.

Applicants must hold a Georgia RN license and have nursing program graduation; GI endoscopy experience is preferred and ACLS certification is recommended. Travel to sister centers may be required.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Georgia RN license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• GI endoscopy experience preferred.
• ACLS certification recommended.
• Completion of Airway Management Module required prior to IV conscious sedation.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and specialized nursing care to patients within the endoscopy center.
• Plan, execute and evaluate the nursing care given to patients per physician orders.
• Coordinate patient contact through each phase of the experience.
• May be required to travel to a sister center.
