Job summary

United Digestive is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Georgia endoscopy center. You will provide individualized and specialized nursing care in accordance with physicians orders and state regulations, coordinating care with the endoscopy team.

The role requires independence, the ability to work under stress, and may involve travel to a sister center. A Georgia RN license, BLS, and GI endoscopy experience are preferred; ACLS is recommended.

Qualifications

• Current State license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience in GI endoscopy preferred.
• Membership in GI specialty societies encouraged.
• Maintains Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
• ACLS certification recommended, but optional.
• Airway Management Module required prior to IV conscious sedation; 100% on module post-test.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and specialized nursing care in the endoscopy center.
• Plan, execute and evaluate nursing care per physician orders and nursing standards.
• Interact with patients at each phase of their experience in the procedure process.
• Coordinate with the endoscopy team and may travel to a sister center.
