Job summary

Sierra View Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Endoscopy unit. This full-time, on-site role requires flexible shifts including holidays and on-call, with an emphasis on holistic patient care and clinical competency.

The RN will work under Unit Director guidance and participate in multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes. The position mandates CA RN licensure, BLS and ACLS (ACLS within six months).

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in California.
• BLS certification required or obtained during orientation.
• ACLS certification required or obtained within six months of assignment.
• Basic computer skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat and care for patients across age groups using the Nursing Process.
• Administer medications safely and troubleshoot equipment per policy.
• Document patient status and communicate with physicians and health care team.
• Adhere to Joint Commission safety goals and nursing standards.
• Maintain adherence to Nursing Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics.
