Job summary

Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare is seeking an Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The role covers pre-procedure assessment, procedural support, and post-procedure recovery, with emphasis on patient education and safety.

You will collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Requirements include Missouri RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within six months, and endoscopy/perioperative experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN license in Missouri and BLS certification.
• ACLS certification within six months of hire.
• Endoscopy or perioperative nursing experience preferred.
• Experience using electronic health records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the endoscopy setting from pre-procedure to recovery.
• Perform assessments, develop care plans, and educate patients and families.
• Ensure informed consents and procedural preparations are complete.
• Assist physicians during procedures and monitor sedation and patient safety.
• Document procedures, monitor changes in patient condition, and respond to emergencies.
• Participate in call rotations and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
