Job summary

HonorHealth's Endoscopy unit in Phoenix is seeking a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of endoscopy experience. The role includes weekend and holiday call rotation, and the RN will administer medications, manage IV therapy, and contribute to patient care plans.

The RN will document and analyze patient data, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a busy endoscopy setting.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED: 2 years experience in endo, weekend and holiday call rotation.

Responsibilities

• The RN's practice is guided by the ANA Standard for Professional Nurse and Code of Ethics.
• The RN records patients' medical history and symptoms, helps perform diagnostic tests and analyze results, operates medical equipment, administers treatment and medications, and assists with patient follow-up and rehabilitation.
• The RN establishes a care plan or contributes to an existing plan and may administer medications, start/maintain/ discontinue IV lines, and coordinate with physicians and other clinicians.
• The RN teaches patients and families how to manage illnesses, explains post-treatment needs, and provides self-management guidance.
