Nuvance Health Med Practice CT is seeking an experienced scheduling professional to manage endoscopy procedures and related activities in a fast-paced practice. You will handle intricate scheduling, authorizations, and post-procedure follow-ups, ensuring smooth patient flow.

The role requires strong MS Outlook and Excel skills, medical office experience, and at least three years in scheduling or a related field.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook and Excel.
• Data entry skills and excellent verbal and written communication.
• Medical office experience and minimum three years in scheduling or related role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule appointments and notify authorization teams for testing and referrals.
• Direct scheduling of endoscopy cases across multiple scheduling systems.
• Complete ongoing training to access external scheduling systems as needed.
• Ensure accuracy of facility and professional schedules and audit templates.
• Understand ASC coding and billing differences and payer contracts.
• Reconcile daily deposits and financial reports for office.
• Coordinate physician schedules including meetings and inpatient rounding.
• Assist with tracking and reporting information as needed.
• Schedule and reschedule high-end procedures and manage calendar blocks.
• Manage hospital block times and OR coordination on a monthly/yearly basis.
• Interface with Financial Clearance to assist with authorizations and self-pay options.
• Maintain compliance responsibilities and uphold organizational values.
• Demonstrate reliable attendance and perform additional duties as required.
