Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Endoscopy unit is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (Endoscopy-Blake 4) to support patient care, room turnover and scope processing. The role involves assisting patients with daily living tasks, taking vitals, and documenting in the EMR.

Schedule is 40 hours, days, onsite at 273 Charles Street, with alternating weekends/holidays. Required is a High School Diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Basic life support (BLS) and related credentials are preferred.
• Experience in patient care and familiarity with medical terminology are helpful.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and monitor patient status.
• Document in medical records accurately and timely.
• Assist with daily living activities and repositioning.
• Escort patients and help with transfers as needed.
• Assist with infection control and room turnover.
• Communicate health concerns to nursing staff.
