Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required at hire.
• Certification as a nursing assistant required upon hire, unless nursing student with clinical components.
• Bi-lingual skills preferred.
• Prior clinical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• May not currently hold a valid nursing license.
• BLS or CPR certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the RN with clinical tasks, including glucometry, EKGs, and vital signs.
• Responding to the needs of patients and family members and taking a proactive role in unit efficiency.
