Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification is required; CNA in state of practice is required for new hires.
• Requires 1 year of medical clerical experience or equivalent; customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills, as well as effective human relations and communication skills. Computer literacy is required.
• Depending on department assignment, ECG/EEG interpretation training or approved coursework may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living to promote comfort and mobility.
• Collect patient data, vital signs, input/output, and document in medical records.
• Communicate patient status and care plans to licensed professionals and care teams.
• Perform procedures and clerical tasks as directed, supporting unit operations and patient flow.
• Maintain supplies and equipment, manage charting, and support transport and turnover as needed.
