Job summary

Banner Health seeks an experienced Patient Care Assistant in Oncology Infusion at our Scottsdale location. You will support comfort and dignity for infusion patients, document vital data, and collaborate with licensed professionals to ensure efficient infusion suite operations. The role requires a CNA in the state of practice, BLS, and strong organizational and communication skills.

The position follows a 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Current BLS certification required.
CNA in state of practice required for new hires and transfers.

Responsibilities

Provide routine patient care to promote comfort and contribute to the plan of care.
Collect patient specimens and data, including vital signs and input/output.
Report abnormalities and changes to licensed professionals and communicate with care teams.
Perform delegated procedures with supervision, and support medical staff during unit procedures.
Handle receptionist/clerical duties to support departmental operations.
Maintain complete patient records and ensure chart forms are filed and accessible.
Maintain supplies and assist with ordering and transport of specimens and equipment.
Assist with patient transporting and OR room turnover as needed.
Work in a fast-paced environment with strong customer service focus.
