St. David's North Austin Medical Center is seeking a Nursing Manager Endoscopy to oversee daily unit operations, staffing, and patient-centered care.

The role drives adherence to policies, safety and quality, while guiding interdepartmental coordination and staff development. You will lead efforts to improve patient satisfaction, maintain regulatory standards, and ensure efficient admissions and discharges.

Formación

• ACLS and BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• RN license in state of practice or valid compact license is required.
• Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year healthcare experience; 1+ year supervisory experience.
• Specialty certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• TX RN license must be obtained within 60 days if on compact license from another state.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily unit/department function and staffing to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Monitor and evaluate nursing care per policies; hold staff accountable for outcomes.
• Operationalize evidence-based practices to improve patient safety and quality.
• Support efficiency, effectiveness, and cost with accountability.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Manage admissions and discharge processes for throughput and quality.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care and ensure staff competency alignment.
• Provide leadership to achieve an exceptional patient experience.
• Review feedback mechanisms to identify opportunities to improve satisfaction.
• Collaborate with leaders to foster teamwork and staff development.
