Job summary

Mercy Hospital - Oklahoma City (W Memorial Rd) seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the endoscopy team. You will care for endoscopy patients under RN supervision during pre-op, procedure, and recovery, and assist with devices and high-level disinfection.

This role rotates between inpatient Outpatient Diagnostics and the new Kathryn Ann Meinders digestive health institute. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited LPN program, current LPN licensure in Oklahoma, and BLS/ACLS

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current LPN license in the hiring state.
• BLS and ACLS certifications (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Care for endoscopy patients under RN supervision during pre-op, procedure, and recovery.
• Assist physicians during endoscopy procedures and prep/endoscopy devices.
• Perform high-level disinfection in the Scope Room and assist with equipment.
• Rotate between inpatient Outpatient Diagnostics and the Kathryn Ann Meinders digestive health institute.
