Job summary

Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City is seeking an LPN to support endoscopy services in both inpatient and outpatient facilities. You will care for patients under RN supervision during pre-op, procedure, and recovery, and assist with endoscopy devices and disinfection.

The role requires graduation from a practical nursing program, an active LPN license in the state, and BLS (ACLS preferred). The position is part-time, PRN, with no on-call requirement, offering a supportive team and Mercy's comprehensive

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Licensure: Current LPN license in the hiring state.
• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS beneficial.
• Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Care for endoscopy patients under RN supervision during pre-op, procedure, and recovery.
• Assist physicians during endoscopy procedures and manage endoscopy devices.
• Perform high-level disinfection in the Scope Room and prep equipment.
• Rotate between inpatient endoscopy and outpatient digestive health institute as needed.
