Job summary

Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City is seeking an LPN to join the endoscopy team part-time/PRN, with no call requirement. You will care for endoscopy patients under an RN, supporting pre-op, procedure, and recovery, and help with devices and high-level disinfection in the Scope Room.

You may rotate between the inpatient endoscopy department (Outpatient Diagnostics) and the new outpatient digestive health institute, contributing to safe patient care and efficient procedure flow.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Hold a current LPN license in the hiring state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Care for endoscopy patients under RN supervision during pre-op, procedure, and recovery.
• Assist physicians during endoscopy procedures and with high-level disinfection in Scope Room.
• Prepare endoscopy devices and endoscopes before, during, and after procedures.
• Rotate between inpatient endoscopy and outpatient digestive health institute.
