Job summary

Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City seeks a dedicated LPN to support endoscopy services. Under RN supervision, you’ll care for patients in pre-op, during procedures, and in recovery, while assisting with devices and disinfection in the Scope Room.

You may rotate between Inpatient Diagnostics and the Digestive Health Institute; the role requires BLS/ACLS, graduation from an accredited practical nursing program, and Oklahoma LPN licensure. Mercy offers comprehensive benefits and a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• LPN licensure in the hiring state and current license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS preferred or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Cares for endoscopy patients under RN supervision during pre-op, procedure, and recovery.
• Assists physicians during endoscopy procedures and devices management.
• Performs high-level disinfection in the Scope Room and anticipates physician needs.
• Rotates between inpatient endoscopy and outpatient digestive health institute.
