Job summary

Mercy is seeking a licensed practical nurse to support the endoscopy suite at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. You will assist with pre-op, procedure, and recovery care under an RN, and rotate between inpatient diagnostics and the outpatient digestive health institute.

This role requires an LPN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and a commitment to patient safety and high-quality care. The position is part-time/PRN with no-call requirements, offering comprehensive Mercy benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• LPN license in the hiring state.
• BLS certification (or within 30 days of hire) and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Care for endoscopy patients under RN supervision in pre-op, procedure, and recovery phases.
• Assist physicians during endoscopy procedures and with endoscope devices.
• Perform high-level disinfection in Scope Room and prep equipment for procedures.
• Anticipate physician needs and coordinate with other departments.
