Job summary

Mercy Hospital - Oklahoma City seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide patient care in the Endoscopy department under RN supervision across pre-op, procedure, and recovery phases.

You will assist physicians during endoscopy procedures and help with high-level disinfection in the Scope Room, plus prep and post-care of endoscopy devices. Opportunity to rotate between inpatient and outpatient Digestive Health Institute.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current LPN license in the hiring state and must meet State Board of Nursing requirements.
• BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred or to be completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Care for endoscopy patients under RN supervision in pre-op, procedure, and recovery.
• Assist physicians during endoscopy procedures and perform high-level disinfection in Scope Room.
• Prepare and manage endoscopy devices and endoscopes before, during, and after procedures.
• Rotate between inpatient endoscopy and outpatient digestive health institute.
