Mercy Hospital is seeking an LPN to support endoscopy services, providing patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role includes assisting during endoscopy procedures, maintaining scope room disinfection, and preparing/handling endoscopy devices before, during, and after procedures.

The position offers rotation between the inpatient endoscopy department and Mercy's outpatient digestive health institute, with a part-time/PRN schedule and no call requirement.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• LPN license in the hiring state must be maintained.
• BLS certification (American Red Cross) or completed within 30 days of hire; ACLS certification desirable.

Mansioni

• Care for endoscopy patients under RN supervision across pre-op, procedure, and recovery.
• Assist physicians during endoscopy procedures and in high-level disinfection in the Scope Room.
• Assist with endoscopy devices and endoscopes before, during, and after procedures.
• Rotate between inpatient endoscopy (Outpatient Diagnostics) and outpatient digestive health institute as needed.
