Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for endoscopy patients under the supervision of an RN. You will assist with pre-op, procedure, and recovery phases and help with endoscopy devices and high-level disinfection in the Scope Room.

This part-time, PRN role offers opportunities to rotate between the inpatient endoscopy department and Mercy's new outpatient digestive health institute, with benefits including medical/dental/vision coverage, tuition support, and retirement plan

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Licensure: Maintain a current LPN license in the hiring state and meet State Board requirements.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS (within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Care for endoscopy patients under RN supervision during pre-op, procedure, and recovery.
• Assist physicians during endoscopy procedures and maintain Scope Room disinfection.
• Rotate between inpatient endoscopy and outpatient digestive health institute responsibilities.
